Manufacturing Starts with the Order Specification
Veltrion Webbings is a webbing manufacturer and OEM supplier established in 2010 in Ningbo, China. We manufacture webbing for importers, textile distributors, bag and outdoor brands, and industrial product manufacturers.
The production route depends on material composition, width, thickness, weave, color and intended use. Cotton handle tape, printed polyester straps and elastic webbing require different preparation and processing. Before sampling, we review these details alongside quantity per color, packing requirements and any specified testing.
A reference sample helps establish appearance and hand feel. Measurable requirements are also needed where buckle fit, sewing, stretch or strength affects the finished product.
Yarn Preparation and Weaving
Yarn specifications and visible material condition are checked against the order before preparation. Composition, yarn selection and color requirements influence the construction available for sampling.
During yarn preparation and warping, yarns are arranged for the selected weaving construction. Changes in material or construction can require a revised setup and development sample.
Narrow fabric, jacquard and elastic machines produce different webbing structures. Weaving requirements include width, thickness, edge appearance and pattern details. For elastic constructions, buyers should define extension and recovery conditions; for jacquard designs, confirm the pattern repeat and required face and reverse appearance.
Processing Follows the Material and Design
Dyeing, printing, cutting and finishing are selected according to the confirmed specification. Each order follows the operations it requires.
Printed webbing needs an agreed base material, artwork scale, orientation, placement and repeat. Woven logos require a jacquard construction and should be evaluated separately from printed effects. Cut pieces need confirmed lengths and edge requirements, while roll supply requires agreed roll lengths and splice limits.
For branded projects, our Custom / OEM development covers construction, color, decoration and packing details before bulk production.
Sample Approval Establishes the Production Reference
Samples using existing styles and standard materials normally take 5–10 working days. Custom development usually takes 10–20 working days. Charges and delivery arrangements are confirmed for the request.
Review dimensions, weave, hand feel, color and artwork, together with sewing or hardware fit where relevant. Record requested changes before approval. The approved sample and confirmed specification provide the reference for bulk production; appearance approval alone does not establish performance compliance.
Inspection and Packing Requirements
Checks cover incoming materials, weaving and processing, finished appearance, dimensions, quantities and packing. Width and thickness tolerances, visible defect limits and pattern requirements should be agreed before production.
Additional testing requires a defined method and acceptance criteria. Color fastness and dimensional stability testing, along with third-party inspection, can be arranged after confirming scope, timing and cost. See webbing inspection and testing for the information needed.
Packing checks cover roll format, labels, quantities and cartons. Confirm individual bags, private label requirements and color separation before production.
MOQ, Timing and Quotation Details
Standard orders usually start from 500–1,000 meters per item/color. Special materials, custom patterns and private label packing may increase the minimum.
Standard bulk production normally takes 25–35 working days; complex orders may take 35–45. The start date is agreed after sample approval and order requirements are settled. Transport time is separate.
For a quotation, send material composition, dimensions, weave, application, meters per color, artwork, packing requirements and destination. Include required test methods or a reference sample so we can review feasibility, MOQ and production timing.
