Turn Your Requirements into a Reviewable Sample
Veltrion Webbings develops samples for importers, textile distributors, brands and product manufacturers preparing OEM webbing orders. Sampling brings material, construction, dimensions, appearance and processing requirements together before bulk production.
Send your specification, artwork or reference sample with the intended application. Explain how the webbing will be sewn, folded or passed through hardware. Identify which details must match and which can be adjusted, so development focuses on the requirements that matter to your finished product.
Agree the Development Specification
A reference sample helps communicate texture and appearance, but measurable requirements should also be recorded. Confirm composition, width, thickness, weave, hand feel, colors and quantities per item/color.
For branded webbing, provide artwork scale, orientation, placement and repeat requirements. Specify whether the effect is woven jacquard or printed. Include roll length, splice limits and label requirements where these affect the sample or supplied product.
Our custom webbing solutions review connects these details with your application. Missing information should be resolved before the sample is treated as a production reference.
Confirm Sample Timing and Charges
Samples using existing styles and standard materials normally take 5–10 working days. Custom development usually takes 10–20 working days. The proposed scope and timing are confirmed after the requirements have been reviewed.
Sample charges and delivery arrangements depend on the request. Special materials, new patterns, printing details or revisions can affect the work involved. Confirm the sample quantity and destination so preparation and shipping can be included in the arrangement.
A developed sample demonstrates the agreed proposal. It should be evaluated before committing to the bulk order.
Check Appearance and Product Fit
Review dimensions, weave, hand feel, edges, color and branding against the confirmed specification. Where both sides are visible, assess the face and reverse appearance. For patterned webbing, check repeat, orientation and the details that remain visible after assembly.
Test the sample in your intended sewing or hardware arrangement. Folded layers and seams may affect clearance even when a flat strip appears suitable. Our width, thickness and weave customization page covers these connected fit requirements.
Define Testing and Resolve Revisions
Visual approval does not replace a required performance check. Send strength, stretch, recovery, color fastness or dimensional stability requirements with the relevant methods and acceptance criteria. The scope, timing and cost of webbing inspection and testing arrangements need advance agreement.
Describe requested revisions clearly and identify the affected specification. Changes to material, construction, color or artwork may require another sample review. Confirm the accepted version and any outstanding conditions before production is scheduled.
Release the Confirmed Order for Production
Standard orders usually start from 500–1,000 meters per item/color. Special materials, custom patterns and private label packing may increase the minimum.
Standard bulk production normally takes 25–35 working days; complex custom work may take 35–45. The start date is agreed after sample and order requirements are settled.
Before release, confirm quantities, packing, inspection needs, destination and trade terms. Production follows the agreed specification and approved sample, with transport time reviewed separately from manufacturing time.
