Manufacturing Around the Confirmed Specification
Veltrion Webbings manufactures cotton, polypropylene, nylon, polyester, elastic, jacquard and printed webbing in Ningbo, Zhejiang, China. We serve importers, textile distributors, bag and outdoor brands, and product manufacturers sourcing components for OEM and bulk orders.
Production begins with the requirements that affect your finished product: composition, width, thickness, weave, hand feel, color and decoration. A reference sample helps define appearance, while drawings, tolerances and testing requirements establish what needs to be verified. The production route follows the selected yarn, construction and finish rather than applying every process to every order.
Incoming Yarn and Material Preparation
Incoming checks cover yarn specifications, color and visible material condition against the order requirements. For blended and elastic constructions, the complete composition needs to be confirmed before preparation.
Yarn selection and preparation must support the intended weave and dimensions. Missing or conflicting specifications are reviewed before production proceeds, particularly where a reference sample is supplied without material details. Our yarn preparation and warping page explains the preparation stage in more detail.
Special materials or defined performance targets require a feasibility review. Material selection alone does not establish the strength, stretch or suitability of the finished webbing.
Weaving the Required Construction
Narrow fabric, jacquard and elastic weaving routes produce different structures. Width, thickness, weave, edges and hand feel are considered together so the webbing can be evaluated for sewing, folding and hardware fit.
Jacquard patterns are formed during weaving. Colors, repeat length, orientation and the required face and reverse appearance should be settled during sampling. Elastic webbing also needs agreed extension and recovery conditions so the developed construction can be assessed consistently.
Our narrow fabric weaving process focuses on the construction behind the finished strip. Production checks address visible weaving defects and the dimensional and appearance requirements agreed for the order.
Dyeing, Printing and Finishing
Color processing depends on the material and production specification. Confirm physical color references or color codes alongside the selected construction, since yarn texture and weave can influence the finished appearance.
For printed webbing, artwork scale, placement, orientation and repeat requirements are reviewed before sampling. Printing and woven jacquard should be specified separately. If a logo must align within a finished cut section, the cutting and placement requirements need joint review before acceptance.
Cutting and finishing are selected according to the required delivery form and yarn construction. Confirm whether you need continuous rolls or cut sections, together with relevant edge and appearance requirements. Changes to material, artwork or processing after approval may require another sample review and revised timing.
Dimensional, Appearance and Testing Checks
Inspection covers incoming materials, weaving and processing, finished webbing and packing against the confirmed order. Dimensional checks include width and thickness, with tolerances and measurement conditions agreed where required.
Appearance review covers edges, visible weaving defects, print clarity and jacquard repeats. Patterned products need the approved orientation and repeat details; elastic products need the agreed evaluation conditions.
Color fastness and dimensional stability testing, along with third-party inspection, can be arranged. Send the required method, acceptance criteria and report needs before ordering so scope, timing and cost can be confirmed through webbing inspection and testing.
Roll Packing and Export Preparation
Packing checks cover finished quantities, labels and the specified roll or individual packing. Agree roll length, splice limits, item identification and carton requirements before production. Mixed-color or mixed-specification orders need a clear breakdown to support receiving and stock handling.
Options include rolls, individual polybags, customized labels and export cartons. Our roll packing and export preparation process connects these instructions with final checks before dispatch.
Export arrangements are coordinated through Ningbo. EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP terms are reviewed for the actual order and destination, with transport time confirmed separately from production.
Confirm MOQ and Production Timing
Standard orders usually start from 500–1,000 meters per item/color. Special materials, custom patterns and private label packing may increase the minimum.
Standard bulk production normally takes 25–35 working days; complex custom work may take 35–45. The start date is agreed after sample and order requirements are settled.
Send your application, composition, dimensions, weave, quantity per color, artwork, packing and destination. Include any standard, test method or inspection requirement so we can review feasible production options and confirm the quotation and schedule.
