Packing Around Your Receiving Requirements
Veltrion Webbings prepares roll packing for importers, textile distributors, brands and manufacturers purchasing webbing for stock handling or further production.
Packing requirements should be confirmed with the product specification. Roll length, winding format, labels and color separation affect how your team receives, stores and uses the material.
Tell us whether rolls will enter a sewing line, be distributed to customers or be repacked under your brand. Include warehouse or receiving instructions that could affect packaging. We review these details before bulk production so packing forms part of the agreed order.
Confirming Roll Length and Winding Format
Specify the required meters per roll and any acceptable variation. Confirm the winding format, whether a core is required and any size restrictions relevant to your handling equipment or storage.
Elastic webbing needs an agreed condition for measuring roll length. Comparing relaxed material with material under tension can create differences in recorded quantities.
Also define splice requirements. State whether joins are permitted, any maximum number per roll and how they should be identified. These conditions may affect material utilization, packing time and quotation.
Labels and Item Identification
Labels should help your receiving team distinguish items, colors and quantities. Provide the required label content and identify where it should appear on the roll, bag or carton.
For private label orders, send the artwork and confirm its size, placement and attachment requirements. Barcode content or customer item codes must come from your confirmed instructions.
Our private label and roll packaging review establishes these details before packing. Identify whether mixed colors or constructions require separate labels, bags or cartons to prevent confusion during receiving.
Protective Packing and Carton Requirements
Options include roll packing, individual polybags, customized labels and export cartons. The proposed arrangement follows the product, handling requirements and destination.
Confirm whether rolls should be individually protected or grouped. Printed surfaces, exposed edges and different constructions may need different packing attention. Carton size or weight restrictions should be provided before the packing arrangement is finalized.
Pallet requirements, if applicable, need separate confirmation with the shipment plan. A warehouse photograph does not establish the packing configuration for your order.
Final Quantity and Packing Checks
Before dispatch, checks cover finished quantities, labels and the specified roll or individual packing. Roll length, splice conditions, item/color breakdown and carton requirements are reviewed against the confirmed order.
Requested inspection or documentation needs should be identified before production. Third-party inspection can be arranged after scope, timing and cost are confirmed. See webbing inspection and testing to define the required checks.
Export Arrangements and Delivery Timing
Export arrangements are coordinated through Ningbo according to the order and destination. EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP arrangements are reviewed for the actual shipment.
Provide the delivery country or port, consignee requirements, preferred trade term and any shipment-document instructions. Requirements under DDP need destination-specific review before acceptance.
Production completion, dispatch and arrival are separate dates. Standard bulk production normally takes 25–35 working days; complex orders may take 35–45 after approval and order confirmation. Transport timing is confirmed separately.
Information Needed for Packing Review
Send the item/color quantities, roll lengths, splice limits, winding format, labels, protective packing and carton requirements. Include the destination, trade term and target schedule.
For custom packaging, provide artwork or a reference sample. Our Custom / OEM service connects these requirements with sampling and bulk production before the final quotation is confirmed.
