Develop Woven Patterns for Your Product
Veltrion Webbings develops jacquard webbing for bag and apparel brands, textile distributors and OEM product manufacturers. Patterns and logos are formed during weaving, with material, width, colors and repeat length reviewed together before sampling.
Send your artwork or reference sample and explain how the webbing will be used. A continuous bag strap, a short sewn section and a visible decorative panel may require different pattern arrangements. Identify the areas that will remain visible after folding, sewing or passing through hardware.
Confirm Artwork and Pattern Scale
Provide clear artwork with the intended motif dimensions, orientation and repeat spacing. For lettering or logos, include a readable original file rather than relying only on a photograph of an existing strap.
Fine lines, small lettering and closely spaced details need to be assessed against the proposed yarn and construction. We review whether the design can remain recognizable within the available webbing width. Any simplification or adjustment should be confirmed before the sample is approved.
State whether the pattern should run continuously or align with a particular cut section. Where placement within a finished component matters, provide the relevant drawing and cutting requirements for feasibility review.
Match Colors, Weave and Reverse Appearance
Specify the base and pattern colors separately, using physical references or color codes. Our color matching process considers the selected material and woven surface when developing the sample.
Confirm the required face and reverse appearance. The reverse of a woven pattern may look different from its face, so it should be reviewed if both sides remain visible in the finished product. Include expectations for hand feel, flexibility and edge appearance alongside the design.
Width and thickness also affect product fit. Review these requirements through width, thickness and weave customization before treating the artwork as a complete specification.
Review the Developed Sample
Sample approval covers more than whether the motif looks similar to the reference. Compare pattern repeat, orientation, colors, dimensions, face and reverse appearance, and hand feel. Check the sample in the intended sewing or hardware arrangement where applicable.
Existing styles using standard materials normally take 5–10 working days for sampling. Custom development usually takes 10–20 working days. Charges and delivery arrangements are confirmed for the request through sample development and approval.
Changes to artwork, colors or construction may require another review before bulk production.
Agree Production Checks and Packing
Bulk checks cover dimensions, visible weaving defects, edges, colors and jacquard repeats against the confirmed requirements. Additional performance or color fastness testing needs an agreed method and acceptance criteria before production.
Specify roll length, splice limits, labels and packing identification. If pattern positioning affects your cutting process, explain the requirement before ordering; continuous woven repeats should not be assumed to align automatically with every finished cut length.
Request a Jacquard Development Quote
Standard orders usually start from 500–1,000 meters per item/color. Custom patterns, special materials and packing requirements may increase the minimum. Artwork detail, construction, color combinations and quantities affect development scope and pricing.
Standard bulk production normally takes 25–35 working days; complex custom work may take 35–45 after approval and order confirmation. Send your application, material, width, thickness, artwork, repeat requirements, quantities and destination so we can review feasible options, packing and delivery arrangements.
