Define the Color Your Product Needs
Veltrion Webbings develops custom colors for importers, textile distributors, bag and outdoor brands, and product manufacturers. Color review starts with the selected material, weave and intended application so the sample represents the webbing you plan to purchase.
Send a physical color reference or a specified color code with your material, dimensions and quantity per color. If the webbing needs to coordinate with fabric, hardware or another component, include that reference as well. Identify which item should guide approval when several references are supplied.
Review Material and Weave Together
The same color reference can appear different on cotton, PP, nylon, polyester or blended constructions. Yarn texture, surface luster and weave influence the finished appearance. Confirm the base specification before treating a color sample as the production reference.
Our material and yarn selection review helps establish the composition and construction behind the proposed color. Changes to these details after approval may require another color review.
For striped or multicolor designs, specify each color and its position. For jacquard webbing, confirm the face and reverse appearance; for printed designs, distinguish the base webbing color from the artwork colors.
Use Clear References and Viewing Conditions
A physical sample provides a more useful approval reference than an image viewed on different screens. Photographs can communicate the direction, but lighting, camera settings and display differences can change the apparent shade.
Agree how the developed sample will be viewed and compared. If your project requires a defined instrumental color tolerance, provide the measurement conditions and acceptance criteria for feasibility review before ordering. We do not assume that a color code alone establishes an exact match across every material.
Approve the Developed Color Sample
Existing styles using standard materials normally take 5–10 working days for sampling. Custom development usually takes 10–20 working days. The actual scope, charges and sample delivery arrangements are confirmed for your request.
Review color alongside dimensions, weave and hand feel through our sample development and approval process. State any required adjustment clearly, using the agreed reference. Confirm the accepted sample and specification before bulk production is scheduled.
Agree Color Checks and Testing Requirements
Production checks include yarn and color review, finished appearance and the specified woven or printed patterns. Any additional color fastness testing should be agreed before production.
Tell us whether washing, rubbing or another exposure condition matters for your application. Provide the required method, acceptance criteria and report needs so the scope, timing and cost can be confirmed through webbing inspection and testing.
For repeat orders, identify the previously approved specification and supply the relevant color reference. A previous photograph alone should not replace the agreed sample.
Plan Quantities, Packing and Delivery
Standard orders usually start from 500–1,000 meters per item/color. Special materials, constructions or color-development requirements may affect the project minimum and quotation.
Standard bulk production normally takes 25–35 working days; complex custom work may take 35–45 after sample and order requirements are settled. List quantities separately by color and confirm roll labels and packing identification. Send your destination and target schedule so shipment arrangements can be reviewed, with transport time confirmed separately.
